Gabe joined Reese Henry in August 2024, bringing with him seven years of experience in accounting, complemented by a diverse background in banking, mortgage lending, and insurance. His accounting career began after graduate school with EKSH/Plante Moran, where he specialized in audit engagements for real estate, manufacturing, and public companies. Gabe later transitioned to a role at NexCore Group, a real estate development company, where he advanced from Development Accountant to Controller. In this capacity, he managed a development accounting team, ensuring projects were executed on-time and on-budget through close collaboration with general contractors and project management teams.
Gabe holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of New Mexico and a Master's of Accountancy from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Outside of work, Gabe is passionate about outdoor activities, including skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, hiking, and camping. He has a deep appreciation for the national parks system and aims to visit all of them in his lifetime. Additionally, he enjoys spending time in his garage, working on old vehicles, and tackling home renovation projects.

“We chose Taos because of the abundance of outdoor activities, strong cultural traditions, and mild sunny weather. Taos provides a great mix of arts, music, and community events in a friendly small town package. The delicious New Mexican food is a nice plus too!”

“To me the Aspen Idea is one that encourages the pursuit of personal happiness as a starting point to pursuing other life goals. Whether those goals be professional, spiritual or others, I think its important to work from the inside first, then move out.”
