Why did you choose Nashville and Texas?

“I moved to Nashville from Portland in 2016, like many West Coast transplants. I met my wife during a work rotation in Nashville, and when we decided to get married and start a family, it was the obvious choice. Being closer to her family made a big difference, and now with my own family having relocated from Oregon to Texas, it feels like the perfect place for us to put down roots.”

What does living the “Aspen Idea” mean to you?

“Our profession is very "left-brain" focused, making it all the more important to find balance by getting away from laptops, spreadsheets, and tax forms to really live life to the fullest. Searching for this balance is what led me to Reese Henry in the first place!”

Why did you choose to join the team at Reese Henry?

“I chose to join Reese Henry because of the strong sense of community and connection among the team. Even early in my time here, it's clear that this isn't a typical corporate environment. The team genuinely cares about where you are in your personal life, your career development, and during busy seasons, providing support on a personal level. What brought me here, and what keeps me, is the balance Reese Henry strikes between delivering high-quality work – like getting tax returns done and meeting deadlines – and ensuring employees have a reasonable work-life balance. It’s a place that truly goes the extra mile for both clients and its people.”
